 Accor North America

 As its name would suggest, Accor North America is the North American branch of Evry-based leisure group Accor, which operates about 3,700 hotels worldwide. Accor North America's roster of more than 1,200 hotels includes more than 850 Motel 6s and 360 Red Roof Inns, in addition to nine luxury Sofitel hotels located in Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Washington, DC. The company manages six moderately priced Novotel hotels in the US and Canada , including locations in New York City and Montreal . Accor's US expansion strategy calls for another 25 Motel 6s and seven Red Roof Inns to be added in 2002.
