Loews Hotels Holding Corporation: Company Type Subsidiary of Loews

Unlike the sound of its name, Loews Hotels operates on the high end of the lodging business. A subsidiary of holding company Loews Corporation, Loews Hotels owns or operates 17 luxury hotel/resorts in the US and Canada. Its properties include New York City's Metropolitan; Chicago's House of Blues Hotel; Washington, DC's historic Jefferson Hotel; and locations in Miami Beach and Philadelphia, among others. The group's joint venture with Universal Studios includes three hotels in Orlando , Florida . Its Loews Boston Hotel is scheduled to open in Beantown's theatre district the following year. Loews Hotels accounts for less than 2% of its parent company's revenue.
